I'm getting really excited for the NAEA conference in Seattle...I was preparing my schedule and there's WAY too many sessions I want to attend...I am overbooked for sure! Dr. Rolling, Dr. Bey, Laura Reeder and I will be in attendance along with my traveling conference companion, Dr. (YES, I said DOCTOR) Corrie Burdick, illustrious SU Art Ed alum now teaching at Alfred University in Alfred NY. Corrie has a couple presentations, Dr. Bey is presenting and Dr. Rolling is also overbooked with meetings and presentation panels as well as his own presentations. I am participating in a round table with Corrie and some of her Art Ed students from Alfred. And...Kristin Goble, we miss you already!!
I'll see if I can persuade some of our SU faculty peeps to contribute a short blog post sometime during the conference...(I'm counting on YOU, Laura!)...just so you don't have to listen to me go on and on.
Next year, the conference is in New York City...driving distance...so SU Art Ed students...start thinking about those proposals now!
